THE LOW-DOWN
Elizabeth and Jacob held their elegant golf themed wedding at Reunion Resort in late March last year. Their beautiful pink and white wedding color scheme and lush florals perfectly captured the spring wedding season. Theirs was a grand event with nearly 150 of their closest friends and family members in attendance. We were delighted to help them all celebrate this happy union!
There were so many thoughtful touches Elizabeth and Jacob included in their wedding. Elizabeth’s bridal suite had a fun mimosa bar with themed pink and white heart-shaped cookies. Their signature drinks included The Blushing Bride and the Tall, Dark, & Handsome, as well as a nonalcoholic option called Love Potion. And they even included a stilt performer during their reception who handed out glow props. Talk about making an impression!
We also enjoyed the elements Elizabeth and Jacob used to enhance their golf themed wedding, beginning with hosting their ceremony overlooking the resort’s golf course. Their photographer, Angelika Krug, also captured some lovely post-ceremony photos around the golf greens. We adored their golf themed wedding cake topper and the golf flags they used for their table numbers. But the choice we loved most? They included a mini putt-putt course in their reception!

Did you do any planning troubleshooting with the couple?
Yes! The couple wasn’t sure how they wanted their floorplan to be set. I offered suggestions and made adjustments, creating several options for them. They ended up loving what I put together! I was happy I could take that stress off their plate.
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
I thought having a golf themed wedding was so unique! Elizabeth and Jacob did a great job reflecting their theme in their décor choices.
What was something about this event that truly touched you?
The couple wrote their own vows, and they were so sweet! They reminded each other of how they first met in college and how their relationship evolved. I thought it was a special personal touch.
What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?
“Lover” by Taylor Swift.
