Elegant Wedding | Katherine and Adam at Gaylord Palms
The elegant wedding of Katherine and Adam took place at the stunning Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in late July. This Virginia couple originally planned their ceremony at another venue, but had to change their plans due to COVID-19. Despite the last-minute change, their intimate micro wedding turned out absolutely beautiful!
Katherine and Adam went with a classic white, ivory, and gold color scheme accented with lush greenery. This romantic and timeless wedding color palette transitioned perfectly from their original venue to the Gaylord, and looked amazing in their photos! Raining Roses brought it all together into a gorgeous wedding design.
We also enjoyed Katherine and Adam’s nods to Disney throughout their event. Since their ceremony and reception both took place in Disney Springs, this made perfect sense! Guests loved elements like their Mickey and Minnie wedding cake topper and their ceremony song selections such as “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King and “For the First Time in Forever” from Frozen. It made for both a fun and memorable day!

Most emotional moment
The first looks! Katherine did a first look with her father first and then her groom. Both were such beautiful, emotional moments and had every viewer in tears!

A unique element I loved
A few of the family members were students at Julliard, so they knew exactly what they wanted to hear from the violinist, Jennie Rudberg, during the ceremony. The bride requested a grand entrance, and that’s just what she got! She walked around the bridge overlooking the ceremony site, and between that and the emphasis on the music, it gave all of us chills! It was truly unforgettable!

Another detail I just had to share
This couple is surrounded by such good-hearted people. Their family and friends were such a treat to work with, and it was a pleasure to share in the celebration with them. There was so much love in the air throughout Katherine and Adam’s beautiful day!
