Florida Beach Micro Wedding | LaMona and Gina at the WDW Swan and Dolphin
THE LOW-DOWN
Beautiful brides LaMona and Gina held their destination micro wedding at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort at the end of May. They traveled to Orlando from Houston, Texas to celebrate their special day with their guests. It was clear throughout the day that everyone was delighted for the happy couple!
We loved the unique attire worn by the brides. Gina wore a white ballgown with large red roses all over it, while LaMona wore navy pants, a red shirt, and a white jacket. They looked spectacular together, and it perfectly suited their beach ceremony! Their guests got into the spirit with their attire, too, dressing in coordinating colors. It looked amazing in their photos!

WHAT WE LOVED
It was a pleasure for our team to work with LaMona and Gina on their beautiful beach micro wedding at the WDW Swan Resort! Here is what their Just Marry! ceremony coordinator, Megan, shared with us about their event:
-
Favorite detail
My favorite detail was the color scheme and how beautiful LaMona and Gina looked amongst their family. The colors of this wedding were red and navy. All of the women wore either a red or navy dress and all the men wore a red or navy shirt and khaki pants. LaMona and Gina also wore touches of these colors with a pop of white to make them stand out. I love the idea of asking your guests to wear certain colors to a wedding!
-
Most emotional moment
LaMona and Gina originally planned to walk down the aisle together. However, when Gina found her dress, she wanted to surprise LaMona with it as she was walking down the aisle. When LaMona saw Gina for the first time, it was so emotional because it was such an anticipated moment. You could see the love in LaMona’s eyes when she finally saw her bride walking down the aisle!
-
Fave part of the planning process with the client
LaMona and Gina were so amazing to work with! With this wedding being a destination wedding for them, they wanted a ceremony that would be intimate, but also allow them to enjoy the rest of their day with their friends and family. When they saw the Swan’s Beach Terrace, they thought it was a perfect option for their intimate ceremony!

A unique element I loved
Gina walked down the aisle with her son, Trey. This was not only an emotional moment for Gina, but you could see how excited Trey was to give his mom away to the love of her life.
