THE LOW-DOWN

Julie and Andres really wanted to have a budget friendly wedding here in their hometown of Orlando, Florida. After speaking with our team about the wedding they wanted to plan in less than eight weeks, they decided BiCE Ristorante was the perfect venue for them. We couldn’t have agreed more! BiCE’s event spaces are ideal for an intimate micro wedding like the one hosted by Julie and Andres.

On the last day of August almost a year ago, Julie and Andres exchanged their vows in front of their dearest loved ones in BiCE’s stunning main dining room. Their classic white wedding color scheme was accented with fresh touches of greenery, which we thought was a beautiful choice for a summer wedding! They also included greenery in their signage and stationery, which helped round out their wedding theme.

We thought Julie and Andres made some very smart budget friendly wedding choices. Hosting a micro wedding with just 22 guests allowed them to save money on their food and beverage. They used environmentally friendly faux floral and opted not to have a wedding party, which also helped conserve their wedding budget. Getting ready at home rather than in a hotel room and hosting their ceremony and reception in the same location also helped them achieve the budget friendly wedding of their dreams.

The Just Marry! Team so enjoyed working with Julie and Andres on the planning of their budget friendly wedding at BiCE Ristorante! We asked their Just Marry! event coordinator, Krista, a few questions about the big day, and this is what she shared with us:

How did everything go on the event day?

Overall, it went very well! Unfortunately, Mother Nature intervened and we had to pull the wedding indoors do to inclement weather. However, my team and I did everything in our power to ensure the inside space looked just as beautiful as the outdoor space!

What was something about this event that stood out to you?

I really loved the touch of having a bilingual officiant who spoke Spanish. It ensured everyone could understand and appreciate such an incredible moment!

What was something about this event that truly touched you?

It was so lovely to see Julie and Andres’ family and friends all so happy to be there! It was clear that they all loved and supported the happy couple, which was a joy to see.
