Romantic Wedding Theme | Jennifer and Brad at BiCE Ristorante
THE LOW-DOWN
Jennifer and Brad chose a romantic wedding theme for their ceremony at BiCE Ristorante at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel in late October. We thought it was the perfect choice of both theme and venue! The happy couple ventured to Orlando from New York to celebrate their special day with their dearest family members and friends. Our team was honored to partner with them to plan their Orlando destination wedding!
Mother Nature threw a wrench in Jennifer and Brad’s initial plans by raining on their wedding day. Fortunately, the couple’s gorgeous décor and the beautiful natural light throughout BiCE’s indoor space proved the perfect solution. Their romantic wedding theme flawlessly carried through to the backup location!
One of the elements we felt best captured their theme was the gorgeous, sweeping, dragonwood arbor covered in floral and greenery done by Greenery Productions. The arbor framed their ceremony and looked spectacular in their photos, bringing the outdoors in! The couple also included touches of woodland-chic elements with wood centerpiece bases, signage, and a favor box, and romantic accents like sparkly fabric, rose petals, and hearts as accents in their décor. Topping off their romantic wedding theme were favors reading, “Happily Ever After” and a sign reading, “Welcome to Our Beginning.” All such wonderful touches!

Did everything go according to plan on the wedding day?
Unfortunately, it did rain, which meant the couple’s outdoor ceremony was pulled inside. This is something we never like to see as wedding planners! Jennifer and Brad were obviously disappointed, but I let them know it was still going to be a beautiful and memorable day—and it really was!

What was something about this wedding that really touched you?
The couple wrote their own wedding vows, which is a touch I always love! The groom got emotional, which made nearly everyone else emotional, too.
