Karli and Andrew chose a blush and blue wedding color scheme for their destination micro wedding at Paddlefish Disney Springs, and we thought it was a great choice! These trendy tones are well suited to Paddlefish’s nautical theming and location on the blue waters of Disney Springs. Even though their wedding date of November 1st qualified this event as a fall wedding, here in sunny Orlando, a blush and blue wedding is suitable any time of year!
We thought Karli looked incredible in her form-sitting mermaid style wedding dress. Andrew paired perfectly with her in his dark blue suit and soft blue tie. The touches of blush in their wedding floral and the soft blue worn by their wedding attendants rounded out their blush and blue wedding theming. It all looked amazing in their photos!
One of our favorite personalized elements this couple included for their Paddlefish wedding was the custom denim jacket Karli wore as she and Andrew took their wedding portraits around Disney Springs. We also enjoyed that they chose lilies for their floral, which is both classic and elegant. Lilies symbolize new beginnings–perfect for a wedding! They even brought some fun Disney elements into their wedding through their song choices, which included the theme from Beauty and the Beast and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King.

How did the planning go with the couple?
It was a joy working with Karli and Andrew to create their dream Disney wedding experience! Because they live in Michigan, my goal was to guide them through the entire planning experience, from hiring their vendors to bringing it all together on the big day. I wanted to ensure they enjoyed their planning from start to finish!
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Karli and Andrew were surrounded by their family and friends, and you could truly feel the love and support from everyone who attended. Everyone was so happy, joyful, and had such a fun time celebrating overall!
What was something about this wedding that truly touched you?
The couple’s first look on The Bow! It was such a sweet and touching moment.
