Proposal Planning FAQ
If you’re reading this post, you’re probably planning to propose. Congratulations! This is such an exciting time!
Whether you’re an Orlando resident or you’re traveling here for vacation, you surely want to plan the perfect Orlando proposal. Let’s set you up for success by answering some of the most common questions we get from our clients.
How much should I budget for my proposal?
Proposals can be as quiet and inexpensive or as lavish and grand as you wish! We recommend that you consider your partner’s personality when making this decision.
For more involved proposals, we strongly encourage you to hire a professional proposal planner to take the stress out of your planning (and allow you to enjoy this special moment, too!) To give you an idea of cost, our proposal planning services here at Just Marry! start at $1,000.00 plus the cost of any services you might wish (photography, floral, decor, etc.)
Even if you’re planning a private proposal at home or somewhere without an admission fee, we suggest budgeting at least $250 for some pretty flowers, lighting (candles, LED lights, twinkle lights, etc.), and some bubbly to make the moment truly special!
Do I need an Orlando proposal planner?
This depends entirely on what you envision! If you’re going to hire any professionals at all, such as a photographer, videographer, florist, or caterer, then, yes–you should 100% hire a proposal planner. Your proposal planner will be your single point of contact who organizes everything for you, and they will make sure your proposal happens just as you want it.
You don’t need to be fielding calls or texts to make sure everything is perfect for your big moment, just as you don’t need to be stressed about whether you need any special permits or insurance coverage for your vendors to be on site at your preferred location. That’s what we’re here for!
What is the best time of year to get engaged in Orlando?
The winter holidays remain the most popular time of year to get engaged, and with good reason! Not only are people usually in great spirits, the weather is beautiful that time of year here in Orlando, and all the area parks, hotels, and attractions are festively decorated.
If you’re hoping to avoid the inflated costs of accommodations around Christmas and New Year’s, consider venturing to Orlando in January or February. The crowds are lighter and rates are lower, making it the perfect time for a romantic getaway!
