THE LOW-DOWN
Allison and Scott’s Frozen wedding took place at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and the Rosen Plaza Hotel almost one year ago today in mid-January. They couldn’t have picked a better time of year for a Frozen wedding theme! Our team had the pleasure of working with the happy couple as their Full Service wedding planners. We made sure that everything happened just as they envisioned, helping navigate multiple events between the two venues and ensuring all of their treasured traditions were honored throughout the day.
We thought Allison looked like a princess in her elegant, off-the-shoulder wedding gown. Scott wore a black tux with a bow tie that complemented her to perfection. Together, this New York couple made quite the regal pair! Allison’s blue shoes were also a lovely accent that fit their Frozen wedding theme.
There were so many other fun details that brought Allison and Scott’s Frozen wedding to life. Their soft blue and white color scheme appeared throughout the day in details such as their ketubah, their floral, their aisle runner and signage, their attendant attire, and even their choice of ceremony venue. Their stationery was decorated with snowflakes, and their reception floral dripped with crystals that resembled icicles. Perhaps the most on-point décor element, though, was the scenes from Frozen displayed throughout their reception space. Their guests absolutely loved everything about it!

The Just Marry! team was honored to bring Allison and Scott’s Frozen wedding to life at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and the Rosen Plaza Hotel! We asked their Just Marry! wedding planner, Krista, to share some details about this event, and here is what she had to say:
What was the planning experience like with the couple?
Allison and Scott were Full Service planning clients of mine, so I got the chance to work with them throughout their planning as well as on the wedding day. Their event had a lot of moving parts, and the couple and the father of the bride, Bill, relied on me to guide them through the planning process. Let’s just say we had backup plans for our backup plans! Luckily, everything went so smoothly on the big day.
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Bill knew how much Allison wanted to have a projection cake for her wedding day. When we got a quote back from a professional, it was too far out of budget. Bill didn’t want to disappoint his daughter, so he took it upon himself to do the projections himself. From mapping the cake down to the actual moving graphic, he made it from scratch. It was incredible, and Allison was so thrilled!
What was something about the wedding day that truly touched you?
Just seeing everything come together after so much time invested in the event planning! The wedding was simply beautiful. I was so happy to see Allison and Scott genuinely enjoying themselves, which is always the most important thing!
What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?
“Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.
Where did the couple stay for their wedding?
The Rosen Plaza Hotel.
