THE LOW-DOWN
Sweet Tennessee couple Allison and Josh held their magical Disney vow renewal in the early days of June this year. They hosted their ceremony at the train station in Disney’s Magic Kingdom followed by a grand reception at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. It was such an honor for our team to be a part of their celebration as their reception coordinators!
There were many elements besides just their venues that made this an unforgettable Disney vow renewal. First, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy made special guest appearances. Allison also looked like a princess in her ballgown wedding dress and sparkling tiara! She carried a bouquet with a hidden Mickey pin inserted into the ribbon around the stems. And the couple’s romantic blush and white color scheme was perfectly “royal,” especially with all the elegant gold accents!
We loved that Allison and Josh’s stationery featured Cinderella’s castle and other fun Disney elements.
Their elegant, four-tiered wedding cake also had a Cinderella’s castle topper and the words, “And they lived Happily Ever After” inscribed on it in gold. Even their dance floor was wrapped with Cinderella’s castle and the words “Happily Ever After.” All of that combined with ending their day with Disney fireworks? Now THAT’S a Disney vow renewal we’ll never forget!

The Just Marry! Team so enjoyed working with Allison and Josh on their Disney vow renewal! We asked their wedding planner, Shannon, a few questions about the big day and this is what she shared:
Did everything go perfectly on the big day?
In the end, yes! The floral delivery was running behind and there was a chance the couple’s personal floral wouldn’t make it to their hotel on time before they left for their park photoshoot. I made the necessary phone calls and had a backup plan in place if needed. Fortunately, the florals arrived, and we attached the bride’s pins so she had them right on time!
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
The bride and her daughter wore the same style dress. It was absolutely adorable! Every part of this event was personalized. Allison really thought of all the elements. No detail was missed, and it was absolutely amazing!
Tell us about a moment during the wedding that truly touched your heart.
You could feel all the love between everyone. This was a very intimate celebration, but it was so special. The couple had a personal song written for their first dance. It was about their story, and their kids even joined in. It was one of my favorite parts of the whole day!
