Pam and Charles’ February wedding reception at the Omni Orlando Resort was filled with elegant touches, sweet surprises, and one of our favorite dessert table ideas to date! While the couple exchanged vows off-site at a church ceremony, we had the pleasure of being their reception coordinators and helping them celebrate afterward with 100 of their loved ones.
This sweet couple chose a timeless color palette of neutrals accented with gold and pink, which gave their reception space a soft, romantic feel. Everything tied together beautifully, from the tall floral table arrangements to the décor details. But it was their incredible dessert table that truly stole the show!
Instead of opting for a traditional tiered wedding cake, Pam and Charles wowed their guests with a frosted doughnut cake accented with delicate pink roses and a shimmery cake topper. Surrounding the cake were a variety of desserts displayed in classic style containers, each thoughtfully chosen to add personality and charm. Some containers were tied with sweet pink bows, echoing the roses on the doughnut cake, while others held treats like yogurt-covered pretzels and playful cake pops. We loved how their dessert table offered guests multiple options, creating a fun and interactive element during the reception!

What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?
Stunning centerpieces! They had a mix of tall, extravagant centerpieces filled with beautiful floral and elegant candle lit centerpieces.
What was something about the wedding day that truly touched you?
Her dad’s speech! He had the perfect speech that was heartfelt, while having humor and amazing energy. He also made it a bilingual speech for the guests who didn’t speak English.
Where did the couple stay for their wedding?
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
