Choosing the ideal wedding concept involves thinking of unique wedding ceremony ideas, learning how to choose wedding colors, and finding creative wedding themes that suit your style. If you want some inspiration to help spark your planning fire, follow along below!
WHERE TO FIND INSPIRATION
My absolute favorite places to find new trends and colors are in some of my local boutiques, online, or home décor stores. When I walk into HomeGoods, for example, I always find new color schemes and patterns, atmospheric décor element ideas, and outside-the-box thinking that works perfectly for inspiring wedding concepts!
The local boutiques in downtown Winter Park are another great place to find inspiration. Boutiques are wonderful places to brainstorm your wedding guest style. If you see something in a boutique you would want one of your guests to wear to your wedding, think about a concept themed around that style.
And, of course, we can’t forget about (the ever so addictive) Pinterest! Even if you’re at the starting line with no clear visual on the path to planning your wedding, Pinterest will surely inspire you with its endless wedding concept ideas. Follow our Pinterest feed and get inspired!
HOW TO BRING YOU WEDDING CONCEPT TO LIFE
Once you have perused the many available outlets of inspiration for your wedding concept, it’s time to have a chat with your wedding planner! Show her the photos you like best. She’ll help identify your style and come up with some creative wedding themes that fit your vision. She can also help develop your wedding color scheme.
Bonus tip: One of the best things about working with a professional planner is that she can help you find the wedding professionals who will be most likely to replicate your inspiration images within your budget!

LightingNothing completely changes the look of a room or an outdoor space like lighting! This is probably the most overlooked wedding design element, yet it yields the most dramatic result for a relatively small investment.
MusicEver hear a song that took you to a specific time and place? Recreate that feeling at your wedding with a musician that fits your wedding concept! Choose someone who can play the songs that are unique to you and build your wedding concept around it.
