Christmas Wedding Theme | Danielle and Andrew at Ever After Farms
THE LOW-DOWN
Danielle and Andrew had a Christmas wedding theme for their event at Ever After Farms – Flower Barn last year. It was the perfect theme for their December wedding! We were delighted to have the chance to work with them and bring all of their wedding plans together on the big day.
There were many fun and beautiful elements that captured Danielle and Andrew’s Christmas wedding theme. Their red, green, and gold wedding color scheme couldn’t have been more on-point, and they displayed it in creative ways such as through their wedding signage. Wreaths and Christmas trees decorated the ceremony space, with gorgeous white twinkle lights enhancing the outdoor atmosphere. They also named their reception tables after Santa’s reindeer and placed candy cane favors at each guest’s seat. Even their wedding stationery was decorated with festive holly and ivy!
Their attire was also carefully thought out to capture their Christmas wedding theme. The bridesmaids wore green and carried floral hoops in red and white floral with greenery accents. Danielle also carried a Christmas-inspired bouquet, complete with red berry accents we loved! Andrew and his groomsmen wore black suits with green ties and red and white floral. It all looked amazing in their wedding photos by Regina Hyman Photography & Cinema!

The Just Marry! Team so enjoyed helping Danielle and Andrew bring their Christmas wedding theme to life at Ever After Farms! We asked their wedding planner, Kristen, a few questions about the big day and this is what she shared:
Did you have to pull out any wedding planner tricks on the big day?
There was one element that kept me on my toes! The couple had artificial Christmas trees that they asked me to set at their ceremony site, but it was really windy, so they kept blowing over. I improvised and hand-filled them with the heaviest rocks and pieces of gravel I could find to weigh down the tree urns. It worked great!
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Danielle had so much Christmas spirit! She did a great job creating tasteful, beautiful décor that made the wedding look like it was out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. It worked perfectly at their rustic-chic venue!
What was something about the wedding day that truly touched you?
I absolutely loved their song choices! With songs by artists like Coldplay, Twenty One Pilots, and Imagine Dragons, it was enough to make any Alt-loving Millennial tear up! I definitely shed a happy tear when Danielle walked down the aisle to “I Will Follow You into The Dark” by Death Cab for Cutie.
What was the couple’s choice of first dance song?
“Good Good Day” by Volunteer.
