Blush Pink Wedding | The Alfond Inn Wedding of Rebecca and Michael
We had the pleasure of working with Orlando couple Rebecca and Michael on their blush pink wedding at the spectacular Alfond Inn in mid-July. Actually, they initially planned their wedding for the third week of March, but we all know what happened right around that time in 2020, right? The great news is we were able to work with the couple and the Alfond’s amazing team to reschedule their wedding for the summer instead, and it all turned out beautifully!
We loved that Rebecca and Michael chose to enhance their blush pink wedding color palette with a monochromatic tone of mauve. It really enhanced the overall look of their décor, and stood out so nicely in photos! The geometric metallic centerpieces they chose were also on trend and added to the elegant look for their event.

Favorite detail
Rebecca and Michael did a choreographed first dance to an instrumental medley of songs from “The Greatest Showman.” They clearly practiced A LOT, because it was so good! Their bridal party and guests were blown away, and they received quite the round of applause!

Most emotional moment
Rebecca and Michael didn’t see each other before the ceremony, so when Rebecca made her way down the aisle, Michael was so emotional! His love for her was written all over his face, and he even choked up a bit when reading his vows to her.

Most surprising moment
The flower girl was adorable and practiced well at the wedding rehearsal. But when it was actually time to walk down the aisle, she just ran right down! No flower petals were tossed, but it was such a funny moment for everyone!

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
Michael and his mother are very close, so it was only natural that she gave a toast at the reception. It was so sweet and heartfelt, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!

Fave part of the planning process with the clients
Rebecca was so easy going, and really rolled with the punches when she had to postpone her wedding just days before it was supposed to happen. She was as sweet as could be, and I loved working with her!

Rebecca had custom masks made in their wedding colors of blush pink and mauve. Everyone was safe but also matched the theme!
