Local Orlando couple Christina and Anthony held their elegant ballroom wedding at Rosen Shingle Creek last November. Their wedding was a fun and touching celebration with their dearest family members and friends. It was such a pleasure for our team to help bring it all together!
Christina and Anthony included many elements in their ballroom wedding that gave it an extra touch of elegance. Their wedding color scheme of white, black, and gold accented with touches of emerald green was perfect for their wedding venue and the fall season. They included lush white florals throughout their wedding design, accenting them with fresh greenery and crystal-like acrylic pedestals and floral vases. They continued the crystal accents in their reception with clear Chiavari chairs and tall glass centerpieces. It was just dazzling!
Christina and Anthony captured elegance in their attire choices, as well. The beautiful bride wore pearls and diamonds, including on her shoes! She also changed gowns before the reception and wore her hair in a long, elegant sweep. Her reception gown had a trendy sheer cape that we’re absolutely obsessed with! Not to be outdone, Anthony wore a classic, elegant black tux with a black bow tie. They looked incredible together.

The Just Marry! Team so enjoyed working with Christina and Anthony on their beautiful ballroom wedding at Rosen Shingle Creek! We asked their wedding planner, Kristen, a few questions about the big day and this is what she shared:
Was there anything you did during the couples’ planning or on their wedding day that proved to be a smart decision?
We made the rain call the day before! The bride’s father worked at the venue in event catering, so he was familiar with how crucial weather backup calls are. We were able to strategically think about our weather call during the rehearsal, and rehearse only in the weather backup location to prepare ourselves for the following day. It took so much stress away and ended up working out really well, as it did end up raining almost all day on the wedding day!
What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Instead of a guest book, the couple had a bible with highlighter and pens. They asked that their guests highlight their favorite bible verses and sign their names with a note next to it. I thought this was really original, and it will provide a lovely heirloom for their family!
What was something about the wedding day that truly touched you?
Christina’s dad was very active in the planning, which was refreshing and very sweet to see! Their bond was so strong and they both had so many beautiful visions for the day, so getting to watch them enjoy their Father Daughter dance really meant a lot to me.
Did the couple include any modern or trendy elements?
Christina and Anthony were eating at a restaurant featuring a live, one-man band (Johnny Maldonado) and they loved him so much that they asked him if he would perform at their wedding. Although weddings were outside his typical norm, he said yes! He made the meal portion of their reception so laid-back and entertaining. Christina also wore two different wedding dresses, one for ceremony and one for reception. The dresses were both timeless and elegant, but different in their own ways. I loved them both!
