Wedding Colors for 2019 | Inside Scoop

Wedding Planning Orlando

With 2018 almost behind us, the Just Marry! Team is looking ahead to the exciting and new trends we will see in the upcoming year. A new year means a fresh year of new color palettes. We can’t wait to see what our couples incorporate for colors in their décor, floral, and attire! Let’s dig into some of the trends we anticipate seeing in wedding colors for 2019:

UPDATING THE CLASSICS

Traditionally we see just the bride in white. 2019 will bring on a new trend with all-white weddings accented with pops of black and gray. We think this is such a chic trend! We’re looking forward to seeing some regal, classic looks.

Some couples might incorporate black tie attire into this trend. Picture rich, ivory floral accented with black or gray feathers, a trend we are beginning to see in 2019 wedding dresses. The all-white look with these pops of gray and black will add a truly timeless look for any couple’s special day!

We also are looking forward to seeing how our couples incorporate the Pantone Color of the Year for 2019! Living Coral is the announced color. This shade ties in wonderfully with tropical themes. It would provide a pop of color paired with navy, as well as look lovely with mint green as a soft contrasting color.

COLORS IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Though we may see less Gobos at weddings, you can expect to see a new alternative for 2019 – lighting patterns! Bring your garden-themed wedding to life with floral patterns projected on the walls in your wedding theme color. Create your very own Winter Wonderland by adding a winter texture. Starburst patterns on the entrance to your reception can really set the tone of the night as you and your wedding party enter into the reception. The options are endless!

Don’t forget about the dance floor! With damask or filigree patterns projected onto the dance floor, you will truly light up the night and bring your photos to life!

ADDING SOME SPARKLE

We can’t stop at just the lighting patterns lighting up your wedding. We also have to mention an amazing new wedding trend we are excited to see in 2019 – magical sparkler fountains! Surround your dance floor with these enchanting sparklers as you enjoy your first dance with your new spouse. What a fun way to add both color and sparkle to your magical moment!

Worried about having sparklers indoors? Fear not: these fountains are cold, which means venues typically allow them. Your guests will remain safe and have a great time at your event. They will be a fun detail your guests will rave about for years to come!
