Viva Las Vegas Wedding | Kim and Pieter at the Hard Rock Hotel
THE LOW-DOWN
The Hard Rock Hotel was the perfect setting for Kim and Pieter’s Viva Las Vegas wedding! They traveled to Orlando all the way from the Netherlands to exchange their vows in front of their closest family members and friends. By inviting “Elvis” to officiate for them, they made their destination micro wedding an event to remember!
Hiring an Elvis impersonator to officiate their wedding wasn’t the only Viva Las Vegas wedding touch Kim and Pieter included. Their guests were also serenaded by The King, and many guests wore Hawaiian shirts a la Elvis Presley in Blue Hawaii. Kim and Pieter also gave their guests Hawaiian leis to add to that vibe. The groom even wore all black, reminiscent of Johnny Cash in his Vegas show. There is no doubt that this Viva Las Vegas wedding is going down among those we will never forget!

It was an honor for the Just Marry! team to partner with Kim and Pieter on their Viva Las Vegas wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel! We asked their wedding planner, Ellis, some questions about their event, and this is what she shared:

Did you have to pull out any wedding planner tricks for this wedding?
Not too much! My part in Kim and Pieter’s special day was in helping them have the wedding of their dreams even though they came here to celebrate all the way from the Netherlands. I got to help them build their vendor dream team and enjoy every moment of their wedding day!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
For sure Steve Greer, their Elvis officiant! This was AMAZING, and so much fun! He dressed just like Elvis, and sang four songs for the couple before, during, and after their ceremony. Truly one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever worked on!

What was something about the wedding day that really touched you?
How much fun everyone was having! You could see the joy on everyone’s faces the entire day, especially when everyone got up to dance to an Elvis song.

What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?
The bride wore a leather jacket, black feather earrings, and black boots with her dress. She even wore pink glittery eyeshadow. It showcased her personality perfectly! I loved that Kim’s friend created the beautiful custom design on her leather jacket, too.
