Suzie and John’s Universal Orlando wedding at Hard Rock Live took place right before the travel restrictions were imposed in mid-March. We were so excited to work with them at this remarkable venue, one of our newest venue partners! They were such a sweet couple too…it was a joy for our team to work with them.

Most emotional moment
Suzie had a first look with her father and daughter. You could tell they both play such an important role in her life, especially her daughter! The bride could barely hold back her tears when walking up to her daughter.

Most surprising element
Suzie and John wanted to immediately do a champagne toast with their guests after the ceremony to thank everyone for being at their wedding and encouraging them throughout their lives. It was such a touching moment, seeing two families join as one!

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
Suzie and John did not want to waste time taking photos after their ceremony. They quickly did a few photos together and made their way back to their cocktail hour to celebrate with the rest of their family and friends, most of whom flew in for their big day!

A unique element I loved
Suzie and John knew that they were going to have a lot of kids at their wedding, including their daughter. They decided to have coloring books and crayons at each child’s table setting to keep them entertained during the night. It was actually their daughter’s special idea!
