THE LOW-DOWN
Carolyn and Jim held their tropical lakeside wedding at Paradise Cove almost one year ago in mid-February. This sweet couple ventured to Orlando from the UK with their closest family members and friends for their memorable micro wedding. It was such a pleasure for our team to work with them on their special day!
The couple’s lakeside wedding ceremony took place at Paradise Cove’s Oasis, following by a light cocktail reception. We loved how Carolyn and Jim enhanced the tropical aesthetic of their venue with touches like flowing white fabric decorating the ceremony arbor, their bright blue and green wedding color scheme, and the sunglasses and sea life-themed stuffed animals they gave the page boys. It all looked spectacular in their wedding photos!

Favorite detail
Carolyn had all of the personal floral made from the couple’s favorite books. The florals were a mixture of bright blue and green, really fitting their tropical theme. If you looked closely, you can actually read some pages from the Harry Potter books!

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
The groom, the best man, and their page boys arrived at the ceremony in Paradise Cove’s speed boat. That’s such a fun start to a lakeside wedding!

A private rental home.

Fave part of the planning process with the clients
Meeting Carolyn and Jim for the first time at their rehearsal. After many emails exchanged with them throughout their planning, it was so great getting to meet them! They were truly the sweetest couple and were all smiles the entire time. I could tell that they were so excited to get married!
