The Force was with Desiree and Andrew for their Star Wars wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel this past March. They managed to have their wedding just days before everything closed due to COVID-19, making it a very special time, indeed! It was such a pleasure for our team to be a part of it.
We loved the way this local Orlando couple included the elements of their Star Wars wedding theme. From their R2-D2 and C-3PO wedding cake topper to their BB-8 and Millennium Falcon succulent centerpieces, there was something for their guests to enjoy everywhere they looked. Even the groom’s wedding ring was etched with an iconic Star Wars scene! It was a theme that reflected their personalities while remaining lovely and elegant.

Favorite detail
Seeing the love this couple shared for one another. Throughout our planning, they were both so involved, and on the day of the wedding you could see how relaxed and in love they were. It was such a great day for such a sweet couple!

Most surprising moment
As we were getting ready to walk down the aisle, I was commenting on how beautiful Desiree’s bouquet looked – and she told me she had made it herself! It was so pretty and she combined all the flowers perfectly. I couldn’t believe it!

Fave part of the planning process with the clients
Desiree was such a joy to work with! She sent lovely emails all throughout the planning process that would brighten my day. She was such a beautiful bride inside and out, and I loved planning her special day with her!
