THE LOW-DOWN
Fun-loving couple Missy and Damon exchanged their vows in a romantic poolside wedding at Legends Palace in Reunion, Florida. Their spring wedding took place at the end of April, making the warm weather perfect for a poolside wedding! They wanted a simple but beautiful micro wedding celebrated with their closest loved ones, and that’s just what they got at Legends Palace.
We loved Missy and Damon’s beautiful wedding color scheme of blush, burgundy, and white with touches of rose gold and greenery. It was perfectly elegant and in keeping with the spring season. We also thought the couple’s coordinating white attire was just the right vibe for a Reunion Mansion wedding. They looked amazing!
The happy couple included a few nods to Disney in their décor with Beauty and the Beast theming. Because Reunion is so close to Disney, we really enjoyed this design choice! We also thought the use of a hedge wall to frame their poolside wedding worked well as a décor highlight.

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Missy and Damon were entertainers for sure! They had so much energy, and really valued having fun with their friends and family. Their floral looked absolutely stunning in the foyer of the Legends Palace, with huge manzanita trees for their centerpieces. They had so many fun and unique elements, like a projection on their cake and cotton candy that could be submerged into their champagne toasts.

What was something about the wedding day that really touched you?
They had a first touch instead of a first look, which was such a sweet moment. But then, of course, it included so much laughter! Missy and Damon were so funny, and you could tell they were so ready to see each other down the aisle!

Where did the couple stay for their wedding?
Legends Palace! The majority of their guests and wedding party members stayed with them so they could get ready and enjoy the rest of their day post-ceremony at their leisure. When my team and I arrived, the ladies were getting ready while some of the gentlemen were just getting a quick dip in the pool. Having the massive space from Legends Palace with so many activities included in the home made it a perfect spot to stay AND have their ceremony!
