THE LOW-DOWN
Virginia couple Bryan and Boris held their elegant Ritz-Carlton wedding in late November last year. Their goal was to have a simple and elegant outdoor wedding, and that’s just what they did! It was an honor for our team to be a part of it as their wedding planners.
From their stunning sunset ceremony at the lakeside gazebo to their courtyard reception beneath the hotel’s romantic market lights, there was much to love about Bryan and Boris’s Ritz-Carlton wedding! The couple chose to do a first look, which gave them a quiet, intimate moment together before their ceremony. We loved that they wore matching blue suits! They both looked amazing.
Rather than invest their wedding budget on elaborate décor, Bryan and Boris chose to capture their elegant wedding theme through their music. Music is a shared passion for them, which made this the perfect touch for their wedding! We also loved that they had a wine unity ceremony and chose a custom wedding cake topper carved to look like the two of them with their two dogs. Such a sweet personal touch!

What was something about this event that really stood out to you?
Everything was outdoors! We relied on the hotel’s natural beauty for the décor. Boris and Bryan didn’t want to have anything over-the-top. They just wanted an elegant celebration with their loved ones.
Was there anything especially important to the couple that they included?
They both love music, so much of the emphasis was on the musical performances for the evening. They included the following:
- Ceremony: Solo Violin
- Cocktail Hour: Paint it Black Trio – Violin, Flute, and Cello
- Dinner: Classical Guitar
- Reception: Paint it Black Orchestra: Violins, Flute, Cello, and Bass
- During breaks they had a Flamenco Guitar
What was something about the wedding day that truly touched you?
You could feel the love from everyone who was there, especially from Bryan and Boris. They were so happy and excited! They enjoyed every minute of their wedding day.
What modern or trendy elements did the couple include?
The grooms wore trendy navy-blue suits with black lapels. They looked gorgeous!
Where did the couple stay for their wedding?
Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes.
