Disney Orlando Wedding Venues | The Swan Wedding of Jessica and Rhys
Jessica and Rhys chose the Walt Disney World Swan Resort as their ideal Orlando wedding venue. Their destination wedding took place on the autumn solstice, though the Orlando weather still reflected the warmth of summer! The happy couple chose to exchange their vows on the Swan’s beautiful Crescent Terrace, followed by a lovely cake and champagne reception.
We adored the fun Disney touches Jessica and Rhys included in their intimate wedding! The “To Infinity and Beyond” cake topper was a Toy Story touch we hadn’t seen before, and perfectly reflected the sentiment of the day. The Ariel and Eric dolls from The Little Mermaid added even more Disney flair to their décor. Then, of course, you had the stunning bride, who looked just like a princess herself in her gorgeous ballgown! It all came together into a true fairytale day for this sweet couple.

Favorite detail
The touches from The Little Mermaid throughout their wedding! From their song selections to the groom’s Sebastian pin, they truly brought some Disney magic to their special day!

Most emotional moment
Jess’s father has passed away, so she planned to process alone. A few days before the wedding, she reached out to let me know that Rhys’s father asked if she was open to the idea of him walking her down the aisle and giving her away. It was so beautiful to witness this family already so accepting of one another. Everyone could feel the love between not just the couple, but their families as well!

Another detail I just had to share
Rev. Teresa Knox invited Jess’s daughter, Ava, to stand between her mother and Rhys. Rhys vowed to take care of Ava and Jess, and thanked Ava for allowing him to be a father to her. It was such a sweet and tender moment!
