New Jersey couple April and Richard held their sweet micro wedding at Paddlefish Disney Springs last November. It was a lovely family-focused event that we were so delighted to help plan! It was clear throughout the day that everyone was just so happy to be there celebrating April and Richard’s union.
We thought their signature wedding color of bold red was a great choice! It gave their photos a nice pop of color and it offered a nod towards Mickey Mouse, which worked well at their Disney wedding venue. Every detail turned out perfectly!

Favorite detail
April’s gown was stunning! The details on the bodice were so gorgeous and went perfectly with her tiara. She looked like a princess out of a fairytale!

Most emotional moment
I loved how happy everyone was (especially April!) to see the rain stop right in time for her ceremony! It truly made the day even more special.

Most surprising moment
The weather on the day of their wedding was not the best. It was pouring on and off all day, and was raining all the way up to their ceremony. A few minutes before the ceremony started, the sun came out and there was even a rainbow! Everyone was so happy that we could enjoy the ceremony outside for the short time it stopped raining.

Another detail I just had to share
I loved getting to work with this couple and meet their families! A handful of them arrived early, so we had a little bit of time to chat before the ceremony. There usually is not a whole lot of time to talk with families at weddings, so we really enjoyed this!
