Romantic New Year’s Wedding | Alyssa and Daniel at Paddlefish Disney Springs
THE LOW-DOWN
Alyssa and Daniel decided to have a New Year’s wedding at Paddlefish Disney Springs on the second day of January. This happy couple escaped the cold winter of their Michigan hometown to celebrate with a stunning wedding on Paddlefish’s bow deck. It was clear throughout the day that their guests were delighted to be there celebrating with them!
We loved all of the gorgeous floral and décor Alyssa and Daniel included in their romantic New Year’s wedding ceremony. Raining Roses truly outdid themselves! From the lush bunches of white roses decorating the ceremony chairs to the beautiful greenery and gold metallic accents on the reception tables, it all came together in a stunning, classic look we adored. The subtle nods to the Disney wedding venue, such as the “Be Our Guest” sign on the couple’s guest book table, really brought everything together.

Favorite detail
Alyssa and Daniel’s first look happened at 11:12am because this time had a very special meaning to them. When they first began dating, Dan would always attempt to text Alyssa at 11:11, but would always just barely miss and send her a sweet message at 11:12 instead. Sending the message at 11:12 became a tradition throughout their relationship.

Most emotional moment
Dan’s first look at Alyssa in her dress. The pictures say it all! He was so in awe at how stunning she looked, and they both radiated with adoration and excitement.

Fave part of the planning process with the clients
Alyssa’s attention to detail was incredible. She organized her items so meticulously that setting the décor was a breeze!

A unique element I loved
For their unity ceremony, they had a wooden box, nails, and a hammer. Inside the box, they placed a special bottle of wine, their vows, and letters of love and encouragement from their parents. They hammered it shut together and will reopen it on their fifth anniversary. I thought this was such a sweet and unique idea!
