It was important to Orlando couple Genevieve and Paul that they have an eco-friendly wedding, so that’s just what they did! They held their early June wedding at the beautiful Venue 1902, immediately reinforcing their eco-friendly wedding theme by reducing their carbon footprint and marrying locally. It was such a pleasure for us to be a part of their thoughtful celebration!

Genevieve and Paul also included Florida citrus elements, seamlessly weaving them into their eco-friendly wedding design. They chose a deep green, burnt orange, and yellow wedding color scheme that perfectly suited the theme and the season. Their wedding signage and stationery had citrus and flowers on it, their cocktail hour centerpieces had tangerines in them, and they served refreshing lemonade for their guests.

Even their attire showed thought for their theme. The bridal party wore Floridian style getting-ready robes and shirts in bright, citrusy colors, and wore floral patterned clothes for the wedding. The groomsmen wore ties in a similar Floridian pattern that complemented the overall wedding aesthetic. The stunning bride also had an earthy, Bohemian vibe with her flowy, off-the-shoulder gown, large, chunky jewelry and hair accents, and the baby’s breath in her bouquet. We adored how the look all came together!

Among our favorite eco-friendly wedding ideas the couple included were composting their food scraps, naming each of their tables after herbs and including centerpieces with those herbs mixed with flowers for guests to take home, and having guests reuse their glasses throughout the evening. There were so many remarkable details, it’s hard to include them all!
