Whether it’s an elopement or a large celebration, a Disney Springs wedding is perfect for couples who want to add a touch of magic to their big day. Located minutes from the Walt Disney World® theme parks, Disney Springs offers a variety of venue options for your ceremony or a full weekend of events. It’s also a budget-friendly option compared to getting married inside the parks!
Our Just Marry! wedding planners love weddings at Disney Springs, and we are excited to share our knowledge and details on our favorite venues.
What is Disney Springs?

Part of the Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney Springs is a standalone retail, entertainment, and dining location that requires no admission fee. Previously known as Downtown Disney, Disney Springs has a more relaxed vibe compared to the theme parks, and boasts beautiful lake views, historic architecture, and diverse venue options.
There are also many entertainment options at Disney Springs, including Amphicars, Aerophile, House of Blues, and Splitsville. These are great spots for receptions, rehearsal dinners, or bachelor/bachelorette events!
Why Choose a Disney Springs Wedding?

You should book a Disney Springs wedding if you want a sprinkling of Disney magic on your wedding day without the expense and time restrictions that come with getting married in one of the four theme parks. If you’re a to-be-wed with children or you plan to have children attending your wedding, you will also love a celebration at Disney Springs. This is also a great option for out-of-town couples traveling to Orlando from out of the state or the country.
At Disney Springs, you’re conveniently located at the heart of all the Disney theme parks, accommodations, and dining. You also have access to fun after-party venues, including The Edison, Raglan Road, and City Works.

Find out more about getting married at Disney Springs, including the best time of year, ideas for wedding weekend events, and how to plan your celebration.
Can I get married at Disney Springs?
You absolutely can! No matter the theme or vibe of your wedding, there is a venue at Disney Springs that’s perfect for you. We can help you book and plan a fairytale celebration that meets your budget and style.
You can also plan your rehearsal dinner at Disney Springs. Our Just Marry! team would be happy to help you with this. We’ve had couples host rehearsal dinners at Paddlefish, Terralina, The Edison, Boathouse, Splitsville, House of Blues, and STK Steakhouse, to name a few.
Want to celebrate with a full weekend of events? Some of our favorite Disney Springs activities include Amorette’s Patisserie Cake Decorating Experience, dancing the night away to live music at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage or at Dockside Margaritas, catching a Cirque Du Soleil show, and bar hopping to different restaurants.
How far is Disney Springs from Walt Disney World®?
Disney Springs is approximately 15 minutes away from the Disney World theme parks. Give yourself extra time to get around, especially if you’re relying on Disney’s buses or waterway transportation.
While there is transportation from the hotels and parks to get you to Disney Springs, there are no golf carts or other means of transportation to get you around the area. Many of our couples plan to arrive in walking shoes and change their shoes when they get to the venue.
Our insider tip: Picking an off-property Disney venue like the WDW Swan and Dolphin, WDW Swan Reserve, or Paddlefish Disney Springs opens up some wiggle room in your budget, with offerings such as Ceremony Only events, restaurant receptions with lower food and beverage minimums, brunch reception options, and more! You can also book these venues through Just Marry!, giving you the added bonus of a trusted planner by your side throughout your planning!
Disney World weddings off-property with Just Marry! start at just $950 plus the venue’s site fee for a Disney elopement.
What is the best time of year for a Disney Springs wedding?
We recommend couples host their Disney Springs wedding in the winter or spring. During this time of year, the weather is generally not as hot, and the crowds are smaller compared to the summer and fall months. Winter and spring are also outside of Florida’s hurricane season, which brings lots of extra rain to the area.
