Sheyla and Nelson planned a beautiful cultural wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel that took place in late February. Being from Puerto Rico, this happy couple wanted to be sure to honor some of their cultural traditions while celebrating in a fun and unique wedding venue. They got everything they envisioned at the Hard Rock!
From their sweet waterfront ceremony at the Lagoon’s Edge to their grand ballroom reception in Avalon Ballroom, there was so much to enjoy about Sheyla and Nelson’s wedding. They celebrated their love of music in their table names, choosing names of their favorite bands. And they hired a mariachi band to play at their celebration, honoring their culture and including even more fun musical entertainment. It was a pleasure for our team to be a part of it!

Favorite detail
I loved the bride’s dress! It was shorter in the front than the back and had beautiful black floral detailing in the bodice. Paired with her black heels, the style perfectly suited their cultural wedding theme!

A nontraditional choice made by the couple
Sheyla and Nelson not only had a first look before their ceremony, the groom had actually seen his bride in her dress weeks beforehand!

Favorite part of the planning process with the clients
I had the pleasure of working primarily with the groom, which isn’t all that common! Nelson was wonderful to work with. He had all his ducks in a row and was so timely in his responses on everything. It was such fun seeing all of the couple’s planning come together!
