Just Marry Weddings
We’ve had a blast working with our happy couples this year! It’s been so much fun, in fact, that we wanted to share some of that with you. Today we’re spotlighting the elements from our weddings that struck as particularly fun, trendy, and/or straight-up beautiful! Read on to see what our team had to say:
Danielle Zarrella, Senior Event Manager: I would say as far as trendy goes, I have seen a lot of blush and greenery this year. I’ve also seen a lot of succulents incorporated into bouquets, which was awesome and different! On the fun side, I’ve had a couple of events where the wedding party wore superhero-themed items. It translates so well in photos!
Leanna McDonald, Senior Event Manager: One memorable fun element was the butterfly-wing BMW that one groom just had to have for photos and his big exit with his new bride. Quite the WOW-factor! As for beautiful events, one of my most stunning weddings this year had a whimsical woodsy outdoor ceremony and a Winter Wonderland reception. The ceremony was decorated with lush greenery and white floral, and the reception was full of whites and blues. Both scenes completely transitioned the guests!
Susan Southerland, President: A number of my weddings this year have made wonderful use of Pantone’s Color of the Year, Greenery. The color pairs beautifully with the still-popular rustic-chic theme. At one of my most memorable events, we paired the color with wood planks, barrels, vintage signs, and Edison lights to bring everything together. Everyone loved how it turned out!
Victoria Van Pelt, Senior Event Manager: I’ve had the opportunity to coordinate a number of weddings with fun, trendy, and beautiful elements this year! Some that immediately come to mind are Harry Potter/Superhero/TV Show themes, lots of natural greenery included within personal floral and ceremony floral, and gorgeous, lush bridal bouquets.
