It’s time to reveal a couple more 2016 wedding trends predicted by Just Marry!’s Creative Director Jennifer Haskell. As we mentioned in previous posts, we’ll be running this feature throughout the year. Today is post three of four that we’re running this month to kick off the series. The next two predictions we have for you are:
Put on your masks and costumes! Wedding themes will be among the hottest trends this year. Couples will plan elaborate masquerades, Breakfast at Tiffany’s galas, Mad Men-inspired ad exec parties, and even steampunked receptions. If you’re going to be a wedding guest, keep those masks and costumes handy!
Speaking of guest wardrobe… Guests may be instructed how to dress by the happy couple. Think, “Black Tie Required,” “Flip Flops Acceptable,” or “Dress in a Historically Accurate Costume.”
